Many of the dogs in our program live with us, or in loving forever guardian homes, sleep in our bedroom, often on the bed with us! - they are first and foremost our cherished pets and will always live here.
Every picture on this site is of our dogs over the years or of the puppies we have raised, now living with their families.
Whilst Doodles tend to be healthier than their parent breeds, they can still be prone to conditions such as hip dysplasia and eye problems, amongst others. DNA testing can reduce the risk of many preventable genetic diseases, but only in depth and specific Xrays assessed by an orthopedic specialist can provide the type of clearances needed by ethical and responsible breeders. Only fully health tested parent dogs are entered into our breeding program. Their health certifications consist of DNA tests, X-rays - Pennhip & OFA, heart OFA and eye CERF exams, as well as routine physical wellness checkups.
As a goldendoodle, AMD and aussiedoodle breeder we offer a 2yr health guarantee.
All puppies are adopted on a spay/neuter pet home only contract.

Scallywag Doodles was created out of a legacy to our two 90lb Labradoodles, Jack and Oscar, who came into our lives in 2008.
Jack in particular was plagued with allergies all of his life, suffered chronic arthritis from hip dysplasia and crossed the Rainbow Bridge in February 2021 after a long battle with 2 types of cancer, he was just 2 months shy of his 13th birthday and survived 2 yrs longer than Specialists anticipated. Oscar, Jacks littermate brother passed away very suddenly in March 2019, just before his 11th birthday and will forever leave a huge hole in our hearts. In fact both of our dogs had been diagnosed with cancers in later life and this led to our decision to switch to a more holistic way of raising our younger dogs, whilst palliatively caring for Jack. It was during our search for a playmate for Jack that we were inspired to start breeding. We found that even 12 years on from when we first researched doodles in 2006, very few breeders did any sort of health testing, it wasn't specific to Doodles, even purebred breeders provided little in the way of health testing.
We made it our mission to elevate the breeding of Doodles, to breed with a purpose and to improve the consistency of the breed with each pairing we do.
Our labradoodles brought so much unconditional love, joy and healing to our lives, they truly are our inspiration and guardian angels.
Their legacy lives on in our younger dogs and we hope their puppies will bring as much love and life enrichment to other families lives, as they do ours.
Waitlists are open once posted on our site and are planned a year or 2 in advance, reach out today to reserve a wait spot for your next family pet or to ask any questions about our program.
